As part of R&D Projects, the Institute has developed affordable appliances to enable safe and judicious application of pesticides, and safe drying & storage of food grains. The institute is involved in adaptive research and the technology developed for adoption at farm level details are given below:

Maize row marking cum seeding machine
• Used for sowing maize seeds with marking
• Field efficiency: 1.2 acres/ day

• Battery gets charged with the help of solar panel

• Used for application of pesticides (herbicide in pre emergence situation

• 5 L Hexacopter model with economy payload of 7kg.
