The campus of the Institute is located in the outskirts of Hyderabad City
and in a spacious campus with an area of 9.36ha.

Class Rooms
The Institute has A/c lecture halls equipped with digital audio
visual facilities including multimedia projections.
Audio-Visual-Aids
The institute has modern audio-visual facilities to enable dissemination of
information to the participants.
The participants of long duration courses are encouraged to utilize these
facilities as part of their learning experiences.
Laboratories & Equipments
The Institute has well equipped laboratories for the departments of
Entomology, Plant Pathology, Agricultural Engineering and
Weed Science and Rodentology for conducting practical classes and adaptive
research.
A rich collection of insect pests and defenders, are displayed in the
Entomology laboratory for class work.

The Agricultural Engineering Division is provided with an engineering
workshop which is useful for conducting demonstrations as well as
practical apart from adaptive research in application technology. The
Workshop has a wide collection of modern spraying and dusting
equipment, along with cut models for practical work.
Plant Pathology Laboratory is provided with modern microscopes, inoculation
chamber, refrigerated centrifuge, rotary shaker,
autoclaves, B.O.D. incubators, Potters tower.

Chemistry Laboratory has sophisticated analytical equipment such as GLC,
HPLC, UV Visual and R Spectrophotometer.
The division is being strengthened with GC/MS/MS and LC/MS/MS.

Computer Lab
The Institute has a Computer Centre with internet facility for the use of
officer trainees during their training programme.
Computer facility is also provided in the hostel of the Institute.
Agricultural Farm
The Institute is situated on 15 acres of spacious campus in the outskirts of
the city, leased by Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University,
Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad. Of this, the institute's farm spans 7 acres which
is used for conducting adaptive research, trials and field demonstrations
for regular and short duration training programmes.
Auditorium
A spacious auditorium with a capacity to seat 250 persons has
been constructed under the UNDP/FAO programme of strengthening the
institute.
This auditorium is fully furnished with projectors, screens, PA system and
other facilities for conducting seminars, workshops and meetings.
The facility is being further upgraded to facilitate organizing conferences,
seminars etc.

Accommodation
The Institute has 65 renovated rooms with attached bathroom
facility and few rooms with common bath are available in the hostel located
in the Campus,
with spacious mess facility attached. Residence in the Hostel is compulsory
for all the participants. Boarding facilities are available on payment
basis.
Internet and entertainment facility are also available in the hostel for the
benefit of trainees. The participants of various programmes are provided
with free accommodation in the Hostel located in the Institute's Campus.
However, participants from private organizations have to pay the hostel
room rent and boarding as per the tariff.

Library
Library of this institute provides access to the trainees and Staff members
for consulting current references in Plant Protection and
Plant Health Management subjects. Library of this institute provides free
access to the trainees for consulting current references in
Plant Protection subjects. The institute has a stock of over 8000 technical
books and subscribing to 50 reputed journals, which include
7 international journals.
Museum
The institute has a good museum displaying various aspects of Plant
Protection which caters to the needs of visitors/farmers.
Transportation
The institute has a good number of vehicles catering to the needs of
various training programmes and other office work.
Medical Assistance
A Medical consultant is available thrice a week in the institute's hostel
for necessary medical advise for residents of the hostel.
Games & Sports
The institute has facilities of table tennis, volley ball, kabbadi,
badminton, foot ball, chess, caroms etc. for the residents of the hostel.
